Gallina ham has been produced in this plant since 1958!
After his studies, Mr. Mario Gallina (Campora, 1932-2003) learned a job, the commercialization of local products in the province. Mario inherited from his family some knowledge about preserving and processing meat, which he soon put into practice with perseverance and dedication in his own business. The new job became a real passion and the energy invested seemed to reward him.
Mrs. Maria Moretti (Lagrimone,1934-2019), Mario’s wife, has always followed the administrative and organisational spheres meticulously, with passion and integrity, earning great respect and esteem from all collaborators.
Mario’s company became a consortium member of the newly established Parma Ham PDO Consortium in 1968.
